Developing High Performance Teams

Effective interprofessional team function is essential to managing clinical crises and emergencies and to problem solving to develop effective preventative strategies.

A number of elements of the 9 + one program will contribute to improvements in team function, however one process has been designed specifically for this purpose. The 9 + one team development process includes a tested and reliable survey that measures seven critical elements of high performing teams.  The team survey enables a greatly accelerated team development process by providing insight into individual team member behaviour, skills, priorities, perceptions and attitudes that impact a team’s ability to perform at its highest levels. Teams participate in a team development program customized to meet their specific needs based on the results of the team survey.
